Good facilities and amazing and absolutely fantastic breakfast with beans, vegan options plus different breads. Magnificent and exceptionally nice location when travelling to Edinburgh. Nice restaurant not too far away from the hotel.

Wonderfully friendly and excellent staff, provided useful info. My room was tastefully decorated and complete with a large bed big window, tilted ceiling, the kettle. The breakfast was amazing, with lots of meals.

Just a fine choice for a speedy visit in Edinburgh with excellent value. The shower was warm enough to use without issues. Bring your own snacks as there are no dining options nearby.

A Charming and Cozy Stay

It was warm, inviting, and felt just like home. The decor was beautiful, and the added amenities like the fridge and espresso machine. The location near the river walk was a fabulous bonus, perfect for exploring Deans village. I would have appreciated an en-suite bathroom, but the private bathroom across the hall was a minor inconvenience compared to the overall comfort.

Perfect for exploring the city!

The location was spot on-just a 20 min walk to the city center. Loved the quiet neighborhood and the heating was amazing, but man, it got super hot at times. The breakfast offerings were tasty too. Just wished the room was a bit bigger.

What a good stay! Our Double or Twin Room was cozy with premium bedding and a lovely view of the garden. The location was fantastic, close to shops and bus stops, perfect for exploring the city. Housekeeping was perfect and kept everything tidy, great to fully relax and enjoy our trip.

The plumbing made loud noises at times.

Staying at new town guest house was great. The location is convenient, right in the heart of stockbridge. There are plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby, and it's not far from the city centre. The bed was comfortable, even if a bit small. Smooth check-in and check-out made everything easy.
